Paver Cleaning, Re-Sanding & Sealing

We power wash, re-sand, and seal brick and stone paver patios, walkways, and driveways across Ithaca & the Finger Lakes — restoring color and protecting the surface for years.

Paver restoration cleans, re-sands, and seals brick, stone, and concrete paver surfaces — patios, walkways, and driveways — that have gone dull, weedy, or worn from years of weather and traffic. The result is a cleaner, richer-looking surface that's protected for years, not just cleaned for a season.

OUR PROCESS

Three Steps to a Restored Surface

Every paver restoration job follows the same proven process

STEP 1

Power Wash

We remove dirt, algae, weeds, and staining built up on and between the pavers, resetting the surface back to bare stone or concrete.

STEP 2

Re-Sand with Polymeric Sand

Joints are re-packed with polymeric sand, which hardens in place to stabilize the pavers and prevent weed growth and sand washout.

STEP 3

Professional-Grade Sealer

A commercial-grade sealer is applied to enhance the paver color, protect against staining, reduce fading, and extend the life of the surface.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Your Questions Answered

Common questions about paver cleaning, re-sanding, and sealing in the Ithaca & Finger Lakes area

Brick, natural stone, and concrete pavers used for patios, walkways, and driveways all qualify. The process is built around interlocking paver surfaces, not poured concrete slabs — if you're not sure whether your surface qualifies, send us a photo and we'll let you know.

Regular sand washes out with rain and gets pushed out by weeds. Polymeric sand hardens in place once it's wet, which locks the pavers together, blocks weed growth at the joint, and keeps the sand from eroding out from underneath.

A professional-grade sealer typically protects pavers for several years before it needs to be reapplied, depending on foot and vehicle traffic, sun exposure, and winter conditions. We'll give you a specific estimate for your surface at the time of your quote.

The clearest signs are water no longer beading on the surface, joint sand starting to wash out, and the paver color looking faded compared to when it was first sealed. Any of those mean the sealer has worn through and the surface is unprotected again.

Cost depends on the square footage being treated, the paver material, and how much re-sanding the joints need. We'll walk the surface with you and give you a firm quote before any work starts — there's no charge for the estimate.
